Online Membership for Remote Access to Databases

Effective 1st January 2023, we reintroduced the online membership, which provides remote access to databases subscribed by the Library for one month for the price of one daily ticket (1500,-Ft/30 days).

Reader status related to the virtual library card only entitles you to access Library's databases remotely (from home or in any case outside of the library network).

Please note: Our readers who registered as a member still do not have to pay for this service, because their registration fee includes this expense element as well.

The service may be especially useful for people who cannot register in person at the library due to the geographical distance, or who do not need the possibility of borrowing physical items because they only want to use online resources.

You can apply for a virtual library card by filling out the online registration form.

Once you have filled out the online form, a confirmation email will be sent to your email account. If you can not find your confirmation email in your normal inbox, it is worth checking in your spam or junk mail section. After registration, you can pay the online membership fee by logging in to the remote management interface of our website using the data in the confirmation email received from the library, shall effectuate it only through the SimplePay System. After this, you will be able to access databases subscribed by the Library.
