Ilaria Loatelli (piano)
Ilaria Loatelli, a renowned pianist born in Verona, has garnered acclaim for her exceptional talent and expressive playing, earning praise from both Fabio Bidini and Catherine Rollin. As a child prodigy, she commenced her piano studies at the age of eight under the guidance of Laura Palmieri at the E. F. Dall'Abaco Conservatory in Verona. Between 1994 and 1999, she won thirty absolute first prizes in national and international piano competitions. In 2016, she participated in the Golden Key Festival at Carnegie Hall. Since then, she has given recitals in China and Europe, and in 2022, she toured Germany. Ilaria, who has given solo concerts at prestigious venues and festivals around the world, will release her second album, "Variazioni per un virtuoso," in December 2023. She has collaborated with renowned chamber musicians and took part in the Chopin Marathon in Milan alongside Ivo Pogorelich. Ilaria graduated from the Santa Cecilia National Academy and currently teaches at the Agostino Stefan Conservatory. She is the Artistic Director of Scuole in Musica and the Laszlo Spezzaferri International Music Competition. Her students have won more than 100 prizes in national and international piano competitions.
