Each year, the organizers recognize partners who have long supported the festival’s programs and operations. It is a great honor for us that MESZL received this recognition this year in acknowledgment of its cooperation over recent years.

This award also serves as recognition of the MESZL Music Collection, as well as the concert organizing and community-building work of its director, Katalin Bándoli. The musical programs held at the Ötpacsirta Salon over the years have become important meeting points for audiences and performers and are naturally aligned with the spirit of the festival.

The award was presented on March 20, 2026, at the festival’s gala concert in the auditorium of the Police Administration Center. The concert featured performances by Barnabás Kelemen, a violinist and recipient of the Liszt and Kossuth Prizes, as well as the children’s choir of the Julianna Reformed Primary School and the Police Choir. The award was accepted on behalf of the institution by its Director General, Ágnes Kovácsné Koreny, and Veronika Pribay, a staff member of the Music Collection.

We would like to thank the Bach for Everyone Festival for this recognition and are pleased that our libraries can be part of this special musical initiative year after year.
