As the result of the project, the services of the Music Collection will be available in modern environment; the environment of high standard developed in bigger (basic) area on the 8th floor of the Central Library provides the opportunity for everyone to use the services even more effectively.

The last phase of improvements of the Music Collection covers moving to its final, permanent place.

For this reason, documents of the holdings of the Collection cannot be borrowed, reservation and on-site services are also suspended from 23rd August to 21st September 2021.
Works borrowed from the Music Collection can be checked in at the circulation desk on the ground floor of the Central Library in opening hours within the period of moving.

Cultural, social and event areas are developed in neighbouring Pálffy Palace (Ötpacsirta u. 4.), as part of the project. Various interactive programs are offered in Ötpacsirta Salon, such as concerts, educational lectures and literary programs (among others).
