News, e-books, e-journals - our database collection has been enlarged

Access to four new databases is made available to users by EBSCO.

database provides article-level access to thousands of e-journals available through EBSCO Subscription Services.
For users with a valid subscription, EBSCO's SmartLinks technology provides direct links to the publishers’ contents. Many articles are available by open access but some of them are not.

ERIC (Educational Resource Information Center) is the largest and most widely used education database. It provides access to education related volumes and resources containing more than 1.3 million records;  it also provides access to information from journals of the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index databases.

The collection covers AP Financial News, AP Top News, AP WorldStream, AP U.S. Politics & Government, AP 50 State Reports, UPI Business, UPI Entertainment, UPI Sports, UPI Top News, and more. The index to the full text content in EBSCO Newswires is held for a rolling 30-day archive by EBSCO, so users can search the previous 30 days relating to their search interest.
