Hero of Budapest – Zoltán Csámpai

On November 15, 2025, the anniversary of the unification of Budapest, Mayor Gergely Karácsony presented the Budapest Heroes Awards in the ceremonial hall of City Hall to employees of the capital's institutions who contribute to the city every day. The awards recognize those whose professional achievements, community involvement, or exemplary personal conduct have earned them distinction.

This year, the staff community of the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library nominated Zoltán Csámpai, head of the Library IT Group, for the honor.
