The Itinerant Pucara Bull – Exhibition
An exhibition of painted ceramic bulls entitled Ambassador of the Peruvian Highlands.
The Embassy of the Republic of Peru and the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition titled The Itinerant Pucara Bull – Ambassador of the Peruvian Highlands, featuring painted ceramic bulls. Join us on November 19, 2024, at 6 p.m.The creation and painting of traditional handmade ceramics have been passed down through generations. According to cultural traditions originating in the Andean city of Pucara, these Pucara bulls symbolize protection, prosperity, and happiness in the home. Their rich symbolism reflects the harmony between nature and humanity.
