Overosa Quintet Concert

Join the Overosa Quintet for their season finale concert at the Boulevard Library on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.

The Overosa Quintet is more than just an ensemble - it is a musical workshop where the richness of classical music meets the energy and spontaneity of jazz. Founded in 2025, the group showcases the musical vision of bandleader Zoltán Hegyaljai-Boros, whose distinctive five-string viola gives the ensemble its unique sound. The program features memorable melodies, dynamic rhythms, and cinematic musical storytelling. Blending elements of tango, waltz, operetta, theatre music, romance, jazz, crime-film atmosphere, and comedy, the quintet creates an exciting and imaginative musical journey for the audience.

Zsolt Bartek – saxophone, clarinet
Balázs Földváry – double bass
Tamás Schlanger – percussion
