Completely Kafka - Exhibition by Nicolas Mahler

Nicolas Mahler's portrait and the book cover

Franz Kafka, one of the most famous German-speaking writers, died 100 years ago. His name became internationally known only after his death. His works, including The Metamorphosis, The Trial, and The Castle, have since become part of the international cultural canon.

Franz Kafka was not only a prose writer but also passionate about drawing. To mark the anniversary, his characters are brought to life in a comic strip biography by Nicolas Mahler.
