MESZL Móricz Zsigmond Library
Our library is located at the residental area of Gazdagrét, in the XI. (eleventh) disctrict of Budapest. We’ve been having visitors (adults and children too) since 1987. We have an important cultural role here at this residental area from the very beginning. We pull together with schools, kindergartens and also other institutes really well. We have regular group visits and events. We have been focusing particularly on improving our foreign language collection since 2012. We offer language books, shortened volumes, educational packages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Russian) English and German books to borrow. Due to high interest, filmstrips have also been available for borrowing since 2014. We have a special separate section in our library called „Tini-kuckó” where teenagers can find books specialised for their age and inerest. We offer mostly entertaining books, we try to purchase popular volumes, but all age groups – from children to retired – can find documents for their own interest.
