In 2020 there were several conferences and meetings (organized in advance) which moved to the online space such as the annual regional meeting of Hungarian Sociological Association (20-21 November 2020). The organization of the regional meeting of Hungarian Sociological Association has a great role in scientific and professional activities of the association because due to the meeting there is steady progress in Hungarian sociology and information delivery among social scientists, students and researchers of sociology.
The annual regional meeting has been organized since 2008, on university faculties of different towns.
In 2020, the topic of the two-day meeting was the following:
"Our determination: the role of the gender, age and ethnicity in lasting social inequalities."
