Wakana Kimura started playing the violin at the age of four. She is currently studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna under Professor Lothar Strauß. Her more significant achievements include 2nd place in the Antonio Vivaldi International Music Competition (2019), being a finalist and recipient of the CIMA Thomann Prize at the Central International Music Academy (CIMA) competition (2019), 1st prize in the Forum Musikae International Academic Competition (2019), 1st place in the Laszlo Spezzaferri International Music Competition in Category C (2021), 2nd place in the Concorso Internazionale di Violino 'Premio Rodolfo Lipizer' (2022), and 1st place in the Danubia Talents International Music Competition Budapest (2022).
Ildikó Cs. Nagy studied music at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, where she received her diploma in 1992. She was also a scholarship student at Illinois State University (USA) from 1990 to 1992, earning her Master of Music degree in 1992. As a chamber musician, she regularly performs concerts in Hungary and abroad. Her collaborations include recording CDs in partnership with violinist Márta Ábrahám and clarinetist Csaba Klenyán.
