Closure during the holidays
We inform our visitors and readers that the Central Library and all branch libraries of the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library are closed from 23rd December 2024 to 2nd January 2025. During the closure, our online services will be available.
Return to usual opening hours: Friday, 3rd January 2025
Outside of this period, we welcome our readers with the usual opening hours. Some of our libraries are exceptions, because they are found in community centers that are also closing for the holidays, so the library will not be able to receive readers:
The Library of Szűcs István street (Budapest, XV. Szűcs István str. 45.) will be closed from 21th December 2024 to 5th January 2025.
Opening: Monday, 6th January 2025, 2 p.m.
The Library of Pestszentimre (Budapest, XVIII. Vasút str. 48.) will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on 16 December 2024 and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 18 December 2025.
The library will be closed from 19th December 2024 to 5th January 2025.
Opening: Friday, 3rd January 2025, 11 a.m.
The Library of Királyerdő (Budapest, XXI. Szent István road 230.) will be closed from 21th December 2024 to 5th January 2025.
Opening: Monday, 6th January 2025, 12 p.m.
The Library of Csillagtelep (Budapest, XXI. Vénusz str. 2.) will be closed from 21th December 2024 to 5th January 2025.
Opening: Monday, 6th January 2025, 12 p.m.
