The library opened its doors on 18th April 2011 at 12:30 P.M., in the new community center of the 13th District: the Miklós Radnóti Community Center.
At the ceremony, Miklós Csomós. deputy lord mayor, and Kornélia Holopné Schramek, deputy mayor, welcomed the invited guests and the library staff. Dr. Péter Fodor, head director, thanked the work of those contributing to the formation of the new library, and briefly summarized the achievements of the renovation project for the MESZL branch libraries.
After the Hortus M. Singers show the guests could take a look around the library and at the photo exhibition of Transylvanian sights, by Mária Hucskóné Kovács.
