About the Exhibitor
"My name is Csilla Faragó Nikoliczáné. I am a practical, honest, and open-minded person who loves creativity, connecting with people, and pursuing continuous personal growth. I also have a passion for unique things, which may be why I have been creating my own Japanese beaded jewellery for the past fifteen years.
My motto:: Jewellery makes you unique!
Csepel has played an important role in both my childhood and adult life. I attended the Music Primary School on Kolozsvári Street, where my teachers introduced me to vocal music, folk dance, and even taught me to play the violin. I have many fond memories from that time. From an early age, I knew I wanted to become a kindergarten teacher, and I fulfilled that dream. After graduating from the Bem József Vocational School for Nursery Teachers, I worked at the kindergarten on Béke Square in Csepel. However, my father's early death led me down different paths. I thrived in various fields, including commerce and hospitality, worked alongside politicians, and eventually became an office manager at the Budapest branch of a major American steel company.
My husband and I have been married for over 25 years, and he supports and helps with Csilla Beads.
One fine summer day, my "bead mania" began at the urging of a dear friend who was already creating beautiful Swarovski crystal jewellery. I had always admired her skill, sense of color, and the fantastic pieces she made. She encouraged me to give it a try, but it didn’t come easily at first! However, my determination helped me overcome the initial challenges. Step by step, I learned the basics of beading and continued exploring new techniques. I believe that, over time, everyone finds the beading technique that suits them best from the many available options. For me, Peyote became my favourite. In my jewellery making, I strive for the highest quality, which is why I chose MIYUKI Delica beads, and I still enjoy working with them to this day. Thank you for visiting my exhibition! I hope you enjoy it.
