Cooperation Agreement Signed between the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library and the Libraries of Zagreb and Krakow
Dr. Péter Fodor, the Director General of the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library, entered into a cooperation agreement on May 30, 2023, with Ms. Agneszka Staniszewska-Mól, the Director of the Krakow Library, and Ms. Višnja Cej, the Director of the Zagreb Library. The aim of this agreement is to enhance professional collaboration between the libraries, mutually enrich their collections of local history, and promote each other's culture through joint events, scientific, musical, and literary programs, as well as exhibitions.
The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Deputy Mayor Dr. Anett Bősz, Ambassador Mladen Andrlić, and First Secretary Marina Sikora from the Republic of Croatia, along with Councillor Katarzyna Ratajczak-Sowa from the Republic of Poland.
Following the signing of the cooperation agreement, they enjoyed a chamber concert performed by the Budapest Festival Orchestra at the Frigyes Karinthy Library of the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library. The attendees included:
