The library has been in operation since 1949 on the first floor of 1/a Bosnyák street 14th District, in a former dance school, a so-called "apartment-library". With its furniture it resembles a middle class parlour. This library has been the biggest in the district for decades, so we have in our stock a large amount of books published in these years, and with our current supplies - following the times - we help out high school and college students in their general inquiries, while also supplying the residents of the district with reading material. The small but efficient children's and teen book collection is suited for the needs of these ages, and the personalized activities strongly contributes in turning them into avid library users. We have the option of borrowing videos, CDs, CD-ROMs and DVDs. The presence of computers accessing the internet (4 pcs) ensures the link between modern and traditional.Phone (06-1) 383-0197
