Deputy Secretary of State's Visit

Máté Vincze and Péter Fodor at the Budapest Collection
Máté Vincze, Deputy Secretary of State for Public Collections and Cultural Development of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation visited the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library on 2nd February 2023 at the invitation of Dr. Péter Fodor, Director General of the Library. In the context of a substantive technical consultation, the Budapest Book Capital 2023 project, which is underway this year, was also discussed.
Closing the event the guest of our Library also viewed the notable attractions of the Wenckheim Palace, home of the Central Library, the Music Collection, which was opened in 2021 and some very considerable items of the Budapest Collection.
