Introduction
The branch library, established in 1949, moved to its current place, the pleasant suburban environment of Mosoly street, after the building of the Gyöngyösi street residential complex was finished. After its 1985 opening, the library supplied the literature, popular scientific literature to the residents of the complex and the nearby family homes. Mainly adults borrowed from here, but we gladly welcomed children, too. In the summer of 2005 the library was renewed. After that the bookbrowsing areas changed, welcoming the readers - extending to the catalog and readers of the children’s library of 7 Tomori street - with its much nicer looks. Fitting the traditions of the over 40 years old children’s library, we continue keeping contact with the surrounding kindergartens and schools, who regularly organize visits and programs in our library.
We welcome our Readers with a broad supply of scientific and fictional literature, romance-, crime- and fantasy-fans can also find themselves some interesting reads. Our children’s section offers for little Readers picture-, fairy tale-, poem books, and for the students novels and educational books.
