Our library was estabilished in 1952. It became a popular public space in short time. It renewed in the end of 2008, in the beginning of 2009 following a large scale renovation. Connecting to the heat of the nearby Ráday street in this nice cultural space several services are awaiting for our readers. Books, and audio books, , film and CD collection are all available for borrowing. People who would like to study can use digital databases, online information sources in the reading room for free. The journal reading room contains the most popular newspapers and magazines We have a home delivery service (books, journals, audio books) for old, ill or handicapped readers. People during walking on Lónyay street loves to take a look at our special gallery called „Ucca gallery”.
Pensioners who has a ninth district address and now moms who lives at home with their child can still register in our library for free.
