Closure during the holidays
We inform our visitors and readers that the Central Library and all branch libraries of the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library are closed from 23rd December 2023 to 2nd January 2024. During the closure, our online services will be available.

Outside of this period, we welcome our readers with the usual opening hours. Some of our libraries are exceptions, because they are found in community centers that are also closing for the holidays, so the library will not be able to receive readers:
The Library of Szűcs István street (Budapest, XV. Szűcs István str. 45.) will be closed from 18th December 2023 to 2nd January 2024.

The Library of Pestszentimre (Budapest, XVIII. Vasút str. 48.) will be closed from 20th December 2023 to 2nd January 2024.

The Library of Királyerdő (Budapest, XXI. Szent István road 230.) will be closed from 18th December 2023 to 7th January 2024.
Opening: Wednesday, 8th January 2024
The Library of Csillagtelep (Budapest, XXI. Vénusz str. 2.) will be closed from 18th December 2023 to 7th January 2024.
