About our library
The Kálvária square Library in Josephtown has welcomed all ages of readers for nearly 70 years. We offer our services in an aesthetic, friendly environment on approx. 180 m2. Besides the Hungarian documents, we have a foreign language section. Members can borrow CDs, DVDs and slide strips as well as books and periodicals. The library ensures computer- and Internet-access, and our readers have the option to browse in databases, use word processors, copiers and printers. We also have a collection of Romany literature including fiction, books published in Romany language and non-fiction books about Gypsies.
We regularly organize events for children and adults. Our club activities: Esoteric Club, Meridian work-out, English speaking club, Mandala colouring club.
