Until September 2023, the Firebird House, an onco-psychosocial rehabilitation center run by the Firebird Foundation, operated on the grounds of St. László Hospital and offered various therapeutic groups.
The Firebird Painters' Circle also had support and a home here for 15 years, led by a developmental educator, mental health professional, and watercolor painter.
Over the years, this group has become a community of friends and creators, demonstrating the healing and sustaining power of creativity and communal life, as well as faith in a shared future. Since January 18, 2024, we have continued our sessions in the event hall of the MESZL Boulevard Library, under our new name, Tone Painters’ Circle. It means a great deal to us, and we are grateful to have found a home here.
Our 10th exhibition, entitled “Tones,” is being held in the beautiful event hall of the Boulevard Library. It aims to give visitors a cross-section of the group’s work - selected from paintings created over the past few years - and to highlight the members’ diverse personalities and artistic styles.
The exhibition is open until November 14, 2025, during library opening hours.
By attending, visitors agree that photos and videos may be taken and published on the library’s website or Facebook page. Participation implies consent to data use. If you wish to withhold consent for the publication of your image, please notify us in writing.
