Elvira Virányi (b. 1952, Oradea) is a fashion and visual design artist. Between 1976 and 1980, she collaborated with the Bucharest-based Fondul Plastic as a designer of unique clothing. From 1981 to 1983, she worked in Budapest as a costume and set designer, clothing designer, and industrial artist, and was a member of the National Association of Hungarian Artists. Between 1983 and 2018, she was director and costume designer of the Art-to-Wear performance in Freiburg, curator and manager of the “Galerie Eva” clothing art gallery, and an active painter and photographer. Since 2018, she has been living in Budapest, continuing her artistic activities with a focus on painting and photography.

Stefan (István) Weiss (b. 1945, Budapest) is a photographer and photo designer living in Frankfurt am Main. He completed his schooling in Oradea, where he first worked as an electronics technician before pursuing a career in photography. During this time, he became a member of the Romanian Association of Photographers and later worked as a freelance artist. At the editorial request, he became a photojournalist for Scînteia Tineretului and later head of the photography section. After four years, he left the editorial staff and worked as a photographer for the Oradea State Theatre until 1984. Since then, he has lived in Germany. He is co-founder of the “Nufärul” photography club in Oradea, recipient of the EFA Lifetime Achievement Award, and for a short time was artistic advisor at SlashLight. He has held numerous solo exhibitions and participated in group shows across Europe. He considers the exhibition Clown 77 to be his most significant and formative work. He is regarded as a pioneer of modern photography and a representative of a universal artistic approach, characterized by strong social and civic sensitivity.
