Let's start by saying that “cello” is something of a misnomer.
The Italian suffix -cello is a diminutive suffix. The full Italian name, violoncello, means “little violone,” or “little double bass.” Similarly, the Hungarian word gordon is related to the word for double bass. The cello, however, belongs to the violin family, not the viol family, to which the double bass is often mistakenly thought to belong.
Olivér Pál is a member of the Szolnok Symphony Orchestra and a regular performer in numerous theatrical and chamber music productions. He may give the impression of being a reserved gentleman, but once he picks up his instrument and steps up to a microphone, you never know what he might come up with.
Endre Kertész performs in a wide variety of roles and has already demonstrated his talent and stage presence in countless productions. His mission is to bring music closer to everyday audiences and make it more accessible to everyone.
His concerts are typically characterized by behind-the-scenes insights, stories about the songs he performs and how they came to be, as well as humor and a playful spirit
